Why is this assistance important for livestock farmers?
Cows, buffaloes, bulls, goats and other livestock are an important source of income for many rural families. The sudden death of a milking animal not only stops the daily milk supply but also burdens the family with the cost of buying a new animal.
In such a situation, the compensation assistance provided by the government can help the livestock farmer to some extent overcome the financial losses incurred.
Pay special attention.
The above assistance is not automatically available in every case of death of an animal. The final sanction is given based on the amount of assistance, category of animal, cause of death, required evidence, applicable government resolution and other eligibility conditions.
Therefore, if an animal dies, immediately contact the nearest government animal hospital or Veterinary Officer and obtain information about the official procedure.
